The Year of the Goat
Plasencia Cigars proudly unveils the seventh chapter in its revered Chinese Zodiac series: El Año de la Cabra. Grounded in the spirit of harmony, resilience, and quiet inner strength, this limited edition honors the Goat. An animal that does not conquer the path, it forges its own.
To honor the Year of the Goat is to celebrate the power of quiet determination and the beauty of a journey shaped by intention.
The concentric spiral motif, drawn from the form of the goat’s horn, a symbol of peace and prosperity, runs from the hand-crafted box lid to the band.
The outer packaging takes its form from the hongbao, the red envelope exchanged at Lunar New Year to pass fortune from one person to another.
Terroir
Azacualpa, Jamastrán and Estelí
A blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran aged tobaccos. At its foundation is a distinguished wrapper from Finca Azacualpa, delivering structure and depth, paired with a Jamastrán binder that brings harmony to the composition.
The filler is predominantly Honduran, featuring tobaccos from the challenging hillside terrains of Jamastrán, where adversity shapes intensity and character. Complementing this is a touch of organically grown tobacco from Finca Tierras Nuevas in Estelí, adding refinement, lightness, and a sense of natural nobility.
The Perfecto Figurado is one of the most demanding vitolas to execute consistently. Personally overseen by Néstor Andrés Plasencia and constructed by Plasencia’s master torcedores in Honduras, using aged tobaccos drawn from the family’s private reserves.
